Advice before sales
If a repair will serve you better than a replacement, we say so plainly — even when the smaller job suits us less.
Home / About Us
Who We AreLiving Nest Guide began with a simple frustration: home improvements are supposed to make life better, yet too often they leave families exhausted. We decided to build the opposite kind of company.
Our first job was modest — a Norfolk family whose porch steps had become a hazard after a long, wet winter. They had been quoted for a full replacement but only needed careful repair. We fixed the steps, tidied the railing, and then spent longer talking about their leaking gutter than we did about the woodwork. That conversation changed how we thought about our work.
Homeowners did not want another contractor with a clipboard. They wanted someone who would look at the whole house, notice what would matter next, and explain it without pressure. So we widened our circle of trades — decorators, roofers, glazers, flooring specialists, electricians, landscapers and security technicians — and organised them around one idea: help people care for their homes properly, over the long term.
Today, Living Nest Guide works with households across Norfolk and the surrounding neighbourhoods, guided by the same belief we started with. Your home is where life is lived. Every recommendation we make should make that life easier.
Our mission is straightforward to say and demanding to keep: to make home improvement feel guided, respectful and genuinely worthwhile for the people who live there.
If a repair will serve you better than a replacement, we say so plainly — even when the smaller job suits us less.
Work is staged so kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms stay usable. Families should not have to move out for a refresher.
Our crews live and work in the same neighbourhoods. The reputation we carry into your street is our own.
Values only matter when they change decisions. These are the ones that regularly change ours, especially when a project gets complicated.
Anyone who works under the Living Nest Guide name is selected with the same care we would apply to our own front door.
Licences, insurance and specialist certifications are checked and kept current.
We review completed projects in person before inviting anyone onto our roster.
Patience, plain language and punctual updates are part of the job, not extras.
Everyone briefs on our site rules: clean shoes, protected floors and quiet hours.
Whether you call about a slow drain or a whole-home refresh, the experience should feel the same — warm, organised and free of pressure.
We assess before we advise, and we never recommend work your home does not need yet.
Appointments honoured, arrivals messaged ahead, and updates shared without you chasing them.
Documented warranties, a clear point of contact and prompt help if anything needs adjusting.
